Global Cell Zone is a Nokia priority dealer, operating 2 outlets in Pune, with more than 170 handset variants and more than 250 sales package variants. The customer wanted one solution that would address both their POS and accounting needs, with effective inventory management. GoFrugal helped them reduce their purchase entry time from 20 minutes to less than 2 minutes, handle their accounting from the same system, and removed pilferages and fraud with RayMedi business management software.

Global Cell Zone is a Nokia Priority Dealer, which has two outlets and is one of the most reputed retailers in Pune. Global Cell Zone specializes in Nokia phones and accessories with comprehensive knowledge on all the Nokia phone models. Global Cell Zone offers exclusivity, personalized service, best deals, and exchange offers for its customers. Global Cell Zone stocks more than 170 handset variants and more than 250 sales package variants addressing different business groups like Mobile Phones, Multimedia and Enterprise Solutions.
 
Business Challenges

The customer faced the following challenges:
  • The customer did not want two different software systems to take care of their accounting and Point-of-Sale needs
  • Purchase entry into the system was taking a lot of time and the customer wanted to reduce it considerably
  • Purchase entry details were error-prone and that resulted in unaccounted mobile devices, which invariably got lost. Hence the customer wanted a better inventory management solution
  • Access to personal details of customers, purchase behaviour towards promotions that would enhance loyalty and better relationships
  • Exchange offers, returns management, and price drops of devices
  • Multiple sales package variants of devices with accessories and services
  • The customer wanted to send periodic updates to Nokia on Inventory
  • The customer wanted notifications on their stock levels, sales details, and customer promotions to be sent as an SMS
 
GoFrugal Solution

GoFrugal implemented RayMedi business management solution, which included RayMedi RPOS, and RayMedi Alert. GoFrugal helped the customer maintain IMEI based error-free inventory information and have reduced the time taken for purchase entry by more than 1/10th of the timeframe that it was taking earlier.
