2. How do I come out of ServJoy?
Once you logout from the current user session, just press the Android Home key to continue
3. What is the major difference in RPOS with ServJoy integration?
Table Number has been the point of reference in RPOS while converting KOTs to Bill. With ServJoy, Order Number becomes the point of reference and you find the Order Number displayed in the LOVs and screens of Restaurant Bill Entry screen and RayMedi Touch POS.
4. Why Order Number based tracking is better than tracking based on Table?
When you track orders based on Order Number, it does not matter even when multiple guests occupy the same table. You still get the billing done accurately without any mistakes. The reason is that for every guest, the Order Number remains unique.
In case of tracking through Table Numbers, you might commit mistakes by billing the KOTs of Guest A while billing Guest B when both Guest A & B occupy the same table.
5. Do I need internet to work with ServJoy?
Internet is not required for regular implementations. ServJoy requires only a Wi-Fi LAN connectivity to connect to RPOS server.
If you are working in the Demo Mode, it does require internet connectivity to download master data for chosen cuisine.
6. Does the App work Offline?
No. As the KOTs should be printed for every order, being online is a must.
7. Does the back key of Android work in ServJoy?
No. You need to use the 'Back' button as provided within the App and not the Android 'Back' button.
8. What is an Order?
An order can be related to a guest session. It captures all the order details of the guest.
9. How an Order is different from a KOT?
While a guest session is open, a guest can order for multiple items at different time intervals. Each such order is called Kitchen Order Ticket and all such KOTs are captured under an Order Number that can be referred to the Guest Session. So, when a Steward selects an Order Number and confirms it for Billing, all the KOTs under the order gets billed.
